Poem [May. 27th, 2006|02:14 am]
[music |Popular (Wicked)]

My Music Man
They sent me out to find you
Found You
Tell me your name
You can stop running and I have no fear
I should have asked- I could have helped
The music of your sorrows beats my mind
I see undercover feelings running down your face
I have felt those same precious drops of a bleeding heart
Well they sent me out to find you
Found Me

I think I am becoming an Insomniac!!!! HElP [May. 27th, 2006|01:41 am]
[mood | sleepy]
[music |Help! (THe Beatles)]

I can't sleep for no reason!!!

In honor of this I think I will quote the movie Insomnia:

Det. Ellie Burr: "A good cop can't sleep because he's missing a piece of the puzzle. And a bad cop can't sleep because his conscience won't let him."

- Insomnia

"Let me sleep"
- Insomnia (Dormer's dying words...)

that movie was weird...

anyways

I love anyone who actually read those :)

Bored, lonely, sad...read these [Mar. 8th, 2006|11:32 am]
[mood | annoyed]
[music |In The Deep (Birds York)]

some quotes

Graham: I swear to you, Mom. I'll find whoever killed him.
Graham's Mother: Oh, I already know who killed him. You did. I told you to find your brother, but you were too busy for us. I'll take care of everything here. You go on now. You have better things to do.
- Crash (You know neglect can really kill....)

Johnny Cash: My Daddy's right. It should have been me on that saw. Jack was so good. He would have done so many good things. What have I done? Just hurt everybody I know. I know I've hurt you. I'm nothin'.
June Carter: You're not nothin'. You are not nothin'. You're a good man, and God has given you a second chance to make things right, John. This is your chance, honey
- Walk the Line

Love is blind; friendship closes its eyes.
- unknown

So long as we are loved by others I should say that we are almost indispensable; and no man is useless while he has a friend.
- Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–94), Scottish novelist, essayist, poet

Hope that these got yall thinking...

and sorry that I have not been getting on lately..

Abortion [Jan. 25th, 2006|05:29 pm]
[mood | sad]
[music |Bleed Like Me (Garbage)]

Last Sunday was the Anniversary of Roe V. Wade (i know some of you already knew that...like Victoria- thanks for coming to watch at mass on Sunday :)

here is something that I wrote last year (I thought it would be a good time to reiterate)

Every shade of red is blood
It masks itself in “women’s rights”
But I see red
We should all be given the choice
But I see red
For every 2 laughs there is a silent scream
For every child laughing there is an empty swing
Imagine being in that woman’s place
It can be so hard to have children
She did not want a child
She was humiliated and degraded
She was only 14
She made a choice
The only intelligent choice she had
She chose her life
She could now lead the life she once lead
She would go to college
She would get married
maybe have a son
but I see red
Imagine being that baby girl
cried so hard
No one heard
So cold
Why weren’t you given that choice
The right to choose life should be given to every girl
never even had a voice
no mater what shade blood is blood
She was killed along with 1,800 other girls today
1,800 boys today
I see red

What are you seeing?

I am finally updating!!! [Jan. 4th, 2006|01:54 pm]
[mood | blah]
[music |What is this feeling? (Wicked)]

I am sitting in advisory discussing New Years traditions and our resolutions...

What are my resolutions?

Usually my resolutions consist of making good grades (which I pretty much do any way...) and being a better person.

Well I don't think that has worked yet...

My new years resolution this year is to make this year unforgettable! & I want to do something that changes the world forever

Go ahead and tell me I can't....

It about time for me to update again! [Nov. 30th, 2005|03:10 pm]
[mood | nervous]
[music |Brighter Than Sunshine (Aqualung)]

Today father Dieves visited my religion class & i always feel so bad for elderly people because they know so much and they are always treated like small children.

What is it with people treating elderly people in such condescending ways...

so instead of treating him like he was delicate i spoke with him about human cloning.
He is really a very intelligent man.

All day long i have had this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach about call backs...so cross your fingers for me.

some quotes:

"Any change, any loss, does not make us victims. Others can shake you, surprise you, disappoint you, but they can't prevent you from acting, from taking the situation you're presented with and moving on. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your situation, you can always do something. You always have a choice and the choice can be power."
- Blain Lee

"You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time. You wake up at Air Harbor International. If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?"
- Fight Club

Am i a different person than i was yesterday?

Why today do i feel like crying?- Don't read this... [Nov. 10th, 2005|02:27 pm]
[mood | depressed]
[music |The scientist- Coldpay]

I am miserable
& i could not tell you why...this day has been anything but stressful, anything but truely hard.

i feel just really alone- i am sitting here is Peer Ministry and i am having trouble not crying.

Sometimes i feel like that girl in Riding In Cars With Boys- she is so selfishly concerned with her idea of how to suceed that she forgets what suceeding really means.

I am really selfish and i am frustrated with everyone but the person i need to be frustrated with- me

should i post this...

today...i don't have much to say [Nov. 5th, 2005|09:59 am]
[mood | sad]
[music |Let me go (3 doors down)]

i watched the movie Capote yesterday...

it was really great

i have noticed something:
When movies are made about a person on death row i am actually more moved when the person is guilty than when they are innocent.

i always want the person to live and not because they are innocent or truely changed but because- they are human. It is so easy to read about a murderer in the paper & let your heart reach out to the victim and their family. What a monster could do such a thing? But the person is never a monster and there is always a reason.

When a person argues that a lot of people on death row are innocent that person is wrong. (the law is set up where many more guilty people walk than innocent people die) still every person on death row is a person

Why do we kill people who kill people to show that killing people is wrong?
